13th Indiana County Artists Exhibit – Indiana County Historical Museum, 621 Wayne Ave., Indiana, PA

Delivery: Sat. Nov. 12, 2016  11 am – 1 pm  Pickup: Sat., Jan. 7, 2017, 11am -1pm

Opening Reception and Awards: Saturday, November 19, 2016, 6:00-8:00 PM

Exhibit dates: November 19, 2016 – January 7, 2017 (holiday attendance is high at the museum)

Eligibility: Must be a resident of Indiana County or a member of the Indiana Art Association.

Entry Fee & Deadline: $20 for up to two artworks if entry form is emailed or postmarked by Nov. 8; or pay $25 at  the door.  Students in grades 7-12 are free to enter.

 

Award categories: Professional; Non-professional; Photography; Student (7-12th grade). All works will be judged; no works will be juried out of the show. Awards will be announced at the Opening Reception.

 

Note: The Indiana Garden Club will also be awarding its Floral Award in each category (Professional, Non-professional, and Photography). If you wish to be considered for these awards, prepare by creating flower-related work.

Specifications:

  • Artworks must be properly framed and wired, if your works are not wired they will not be accepted, (No sawtooth hangers, eye hooks etc.) ; maximum 36”.
  • Must be suitable for family viewing.
  • Original work only (no copies or paintings based on others’ photographs, no kits or molds or giclees)
  • Work not more than five years old.

 

Art Sales: A commission of  20% will be retained and split between the Historical Museum and the IAA.
