Why Join?

This organization exists to make participation in the arts available to you, whether you are an advanced artist or you have never lifted a paintbrush, but would like to give it a try. We also encourage membership if you would like to support the arts in our community.

Membership means discounted rates for workshops and classes, free programs with guest speakers, places to exhibit your work, shows that offer awards, free studio time to work on your own, use of our free art library, a place to socialize, an informative newsletter with email updates, and a chance to offer support and encouragement to young artists through Arts Camp and our annual scholarship…ALL for $20.00! IAA relies on membership dues as its most important funding source to continue its work.

If you would like to help out more with IAA, we are currently looking for members who would like to be considered for positions on the board.  Please contact Dayas, if you are interested or would like more information about the openings and their duties.  dmsilvis@gmail.com or 724-762-8411.

Keeping our membership directory current is a feat that our membership chairperson, Kathy McKelvey does extremely well; if your information is outdated please contact her.
When the new year 2014 dawns we will be printing a new member directory.
This is something that is available to all members upon request, given that fact, if you are uncomfortable with any of your information (i.e. address, phone, and email) being listed for other members to view, please contact us and let us know.
We will only print what you are comfortable sharing.
